For the past 10 years we have been collaborating together and he is a valuable team member and independent provider.
David received his certification as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist with The Riverside County Department of Mental Health in 2010. He is the former owner of Serenity Lane transitional living homes. After receiving a scholarship from The Betty Ford Center in 2008-2009 he became certified as a Grief Recovery Specialist at the Grief Recovery Institute Los Angeles. David has worked as a consultant to the Betty Ford Center and wrote the policies and procedures manual for their BFCSL Sober Living program. Since 2005, David has also been the lead alumni volunteer at the Betty Ford Center/Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, having served for over 5,000 hours. Today David enjoys long-term sobriety & is a member of CAADAC, CCAR, Recovery View, and The Sober Living Network
No newcomer to tour buses David has traveled the globe helping clients achieve lasting health and wellness.
When he is not helping others , David who is a lifelong resident of Southern California resides in Palm Desert with his wife Joey, their son Max and their cat Bill W. and their dog, Luna.
In 2010 we met they began collaborating together . Recognizing the importance of building long term scaffolding for clients new to recovery, David adds a special dimension to the services which are offered at ALL About Interventions .
A huge boxing and overall sports fan, David has always been guided by the words of Muhammand Ali, “service is the rent you pay for your room here on earth.”
According to David, there is no better feeling then seeing a client reclaim his life and be a productive community member.
